Those advantages are not only regarding the money it could generate for the country, but also for the players. A study that is being realized at the University of Toronto by professor Ronald Baecker and a group of other 14 researchers try to demonstrate that playing online poker could help to improve the mental condition of old people.
Researchers of this study affirm that poker can be more beneficial than other games as for instance the Sudoku, as they don’t only encourage the strategic thinking but also give the chance to interact with other players.
